MARINCO 303SSELBRV 30 Amp Stainless Steel RV Power Inlet

Nicest/heaviest duty 30-amp connector you'll find. Works great. Looks phenomenal. Much, much nicer than generic white plastic junk you see on most RVs. I put this on a van (see pic). Looks classic - almost steam-punk'esque. Tight seal with the included rubber gasket especially if you use 8-32 stainless machine screws.

Solid construction well made

Replaced a fixed electrical cord from the motorhome with this and an independent cord. So far no complaints, installed as expected and so far works just fine.

I had to buy this item 3 times for one job because of its design flaw. The way it works is the screws and the clamping plates are contained inside of the housing to protect from shorts causing a fire. The problem is that when you insert the wire into the housing it only falls upon one half of the screw and one half of the clamp plate. if you apply too much force when clamping down on the wire, it cross threads the clamp plate due to the wire being unevenly distributed (only on one side of the screw and the clamp plate is rectangular). You also cannot remove the screw nor can you access the clamp plate inside of the housing so once it’s cross threaded it’s done and you need to buy a whole new unit. I destroyed the first one not knowing what I was doing, then being extra careful with the first one I accidentally destroyed that one too. Very disappointing when you know the problem and take great care and still accidentally destroy it. Terrible design.

This is a good quality replacement for my rv hookup.

Product installs great in my airstream for an external connector. The metal feels very high quality, directions included with all the info needed to connect to wiring.The actual cover flap has a notch cut so it is easy to flap down and cover when not in use, it doesn't need to use the same fine threads as the cable collar which is awesome. So far has only been installed a month but I'm quite pleased with it.

I should have bought this 20 years ago instead of 2 plastic ones. Looks much better and holds locking ring much tighter.
