Easy to learn! Seniors game day was a success. At our age we are looking for fun ways to stimulate our brains. This game gave us the perfect challenge and fun we wanted. similar to other dice games it has an element of chance coupled with strategy. Everything is clearly on the individual score sheets as a reminder so no one feels like they are unable to participate.I love the actual board game myself but this version was perfect for those who were frustrated learning play before. Now we all like playing Catan.

I bought the CATAN Dice Game as a gift for my nephew who loves board games. He was very excited to try it out and we played a few rounds together. The game is easy to learn and fun to play, with different strategies and outcomes depending on the dice rolls. The game comes with a nice leather dice cup, six custom dice, a score pad, and a pencil. The quality of the materials is good and the game is portable and compact. The only downside is that the game is best suited for two players, and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. Overall, I think this is a great game for fans of CATAN or dice games in general, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and enjoyable way to pass the time.

Regular board-based Catan is fun, but can take too long. This abridged version has two methods of gameplay and is more fun than the original!

Great version of catan thats easy fun quick portable and sutible for few to many players at once

Purchased this for my husband and I on a couples getaway trip to play while we enjoyed some drinks at night. Had a blast! We’ve never played actual Catan before and had no issues picking up on this. We had actually purchased the 2-player Catan game a few years ago, but the directions were more complicated than I bargained for and gave up. This was WAY easier to grasp IMO. I do wish it came in a box to throw the dice in so they don’t go everywhere (hence the bowl lol) but literally not the end of the world.

Simple rules, easy to teach and learn, fun play without the competitive edginess that Catan normally has.
