I don't use this item for pipe insulation, but I wrap velvet cloth around them with a piece of wood in the center and mount them side by side tightly in a jewelry box draw and used to store finger rings in between them. Works great.

My hot water pipes travel with cold air ducts. It used to take 2 minutes to get hot water at the bath because the pipes were chilled with the cold air ducts. We insulated the pipes with this product and now hot water is available after 25 seconds. We actually timed it. The product was easy to cut and form around the hot water pipe and bends and we're glad to recommend it. We're wasting much less water in the kitchen now thanks to this product.

Not what I expected. Tubes are very thin. Too small for the bars on my trampoline. They are half the circumference needed. Pay attention to size because I didn’t.

It does not stay on easily comes off almost every night. So had to go alternative route and duck tape it on, until I find some other option.
