Gecko 15-720-1500 Flow-Master XP2 48Y Spa Pump, 2.0BHP, 1.5HP, 110V

Q: Need to replace pump (wavemaster 7000 part #71699. this says it replaces that part @ $200 less than oem, but looks a little different. will it work?

To determine replacement first verify the Voltage, Amp Rating and Motor Frame Size of the Original Pump. If it is similar to the advertised pump, then you can use as an alternative replacement. Also check to see if the original motor has a back end cover with heat vent or heat exhaust connection. Note that the new motor will not have the cover with heat vent connection. The original motor cover with heat vent connection may be used on the new motor if it fits, otherwise retrofitting a heat vent is required.

Q: Need the three prong 110 volt outlet plug where do we get it and how much is it

A 20 amp rated cord with Nema plug is required for this pump. Make sure to plug into a 20A Dedicated GFCI outlet.

I'm not familiar with Morgan Spas. I have a BullrogSpa. I went to the Bullfrog dealer and got the correct part number for the pump I needed to replace. It was an exact fit with the correct plug for my spa. This pump is a two-speed pump with the voltage you need, but I don't know if the housing is configured for your spa and I don't know if the plug is a match to your current pump.
