This book has met all my expectations having purchased based on reviews. I got it for my son who is seven and is asking me questions about atoms etc. I was surprised to learn some interesting facts myself and it has a good display on the pages with little paragraphs of different information explaining things very simply and giving examples with pictures too. This book is very thick and covers all topics of science.Arrived on time and in good condition, very happy with purchase.

DK books are excellent for young readers with colourful illustrations and diagrams to keep them interested. I have obtained many DK books for our grandchildren and they love them.

Order well packaged, quickly delivered, and this wonderful book is already in good use, helping me answer some tricky questions my son asks. Plus, he loves us reading him the little 'wow' snippets of fact, having recently announced to me he wanted me to read him a 'real story', not made up ones.Language used is easy to understand too, which helps simplify explanations for an inquisitive child. Definitely a good buy to add to a home library.
