Rod is fine, but not serviceable, manufacturer doesnt provide parts - SINGLE USE ROD
Its a great pole, but now its unuseable. The bubble fell out of the pole and the screws were lost. It doesnt take a standard replacement like every other rod. I called the manufacturer (they are actually near me) when I got through they said they would try and find one and never got back to me. If you are going to sell a line of surveying equipment like AdirPro then you MUST have common replacement parts available for those products. This rod is cheaper than its counterparts, but not atfter you have to buy it twice because replacement service parts are not available.

A Survey Rod That Does the Job and Lets You Stay Hard
I'm a surveyor and am constantly at the whim of my employers decisions to buy the garbage stock aluminum Leica rods. There really is not a whole lot of utility when it comes to those garbage rods because the bend so easily and you can only go 2m high or select graduations lower than that so its really not a very useful telescoping rod. So I took it upon myself to buy my own rod because I got sick of asking. The Adir Pro Mini Rod was one of the robs I bought along with a couple others. So far it has performed well and has not let me down. It's handy for staking column lines if you get the mini bi-pod with it. Also is great for getting to those hard to reach places and shooting in Benchmarks that some idiot put on the "Top of Nut" on a hydrant (PUT YOUR BENCHMARKS ON SOMETHING YOU CAN GET LEVEL ON WITH A NORMAL ROD PEOPLE). Anyways, good product for the price.

Good Quality item
I do a lot of stake outs and my rod man has a heck of a time holding the rod steady, so I decided to go with a shorter pole and it's working out great, providing I have line of sight shots. Works great on windy days when the rodman is getting pushed around by the wind.

A good rod, but not for the tall prism we use
With the Extra Large prism (tall) that we use, this product would not allow us to adjust the height to 5.0', or even 5.1' as this is the lowest increment on the rod. Seems like a good rod otherwise.

Recommended by this Surveyor
I am a surveyor and have spent much more on survey rods that are no better than this one. I would recommend this product.

A great affordable survey pole
A great affordable survey pole. I bought a seco pole for $175 in April and then ordered this pole for my other crew. Turns out I like this one better and have decided to use it myself.
