Aqua MixGrout Colorant - 8 oz Bottle - Cinnamon

I purchased grout that was suppose to be dark tan but after installation it was PINK! Way way off! The tile is octogons and squares so the idea of tearing it out was not appealing. Decided to try this grout paint. It worked great! The instructions say to let it set 30 min to 2 hrs after applying before wiping off but I found that was too much time and the paint was very hard to wipe off the tile. I played around with the application times and the best formula I found was to paint it on for 10 min and then wipe with a slightly damp rag. I was very precise about the time; when I started painting I set a timer for 10 min and then wiped from where I started. I tried to minimize the amount of paint I got on the tile, but don't go to the extreme of using a tiny brush. I used a craft brush and it went fast enough. If you accidently wipe too much off, easy to touch up. I can't say anything about long term durability as I applied it 2 months ago, but it has held up fine so far despite me sliding a washer and dryer back and forth as I remodel a laundry room. No qualms about recommending this product, although my first suggestion is to test the color of your grout before installation. But it's nice to know this product works.

Used this product on grout that was the wrong color; it did work great and the shade is quite nice. Need few pass to make it the right consistent color, but other than that, awesome

I haven't seen too many reviews of this product out there, and if your like me before I purchased it, you may be curious. I can't say I'm 100% happy with the color, but that is more of my fault, with an imperfect color choice to go with my tile. The product itself seems very durable and high quality. The bottle covers a lot of area, I finished my average sized bathroom using only a quarter of the 8 oz bottle. One thing I would suggest is to wipe excess a lot sooner than the bottle recommends. If you have a grout that is aged or a color you are tired of, this is definitely a good alternative to re grouting.

this product works really well - we didn't like the grout color in our home, and this covered over it easily and stayed .....nice product. I just used a small paintbrush, but a toothbrush works well also.

Why can't thee manufacturers adjust the samples to reality?Because my wife don't care for this color. The Aqua Mix Grout Colorant - Cinnamon color is too reddish. We expecting more of of a cocoa /coffe brown color as show in the sample color chart!
