I’ve bought many different cases for my ipad mini. This is by far the best one. The design is awesome because it’s slim but offers full protection and the back is frosted so you can see the Apple logo and has a very small lip to secure the pencil and not one of those bulky slots that makes the case look hideous. Buttons are great also, and the frame of the case has a metal feel to it but is probably polycarbonate or something but makes it look premium. The hinge and stand is metal and seems very durable and sturdy. The case may feel a little heavy but that’s because of its quality. Highly recommend and although it’s a bit pricey, you get what you paid for. Screen protector friendly also, used it with a Spigen guard.

fit: the quality build for sure, I like the fit to my iPad Pro. it was hard to put initially, but I managed to do so. I believe that indicates how tight the case is. so it's not loose at all. at first time I put, buttons didn't work, and then I realized I didn't put my ipad all the way in. after a little more push, it works perfectly fine, too.looks and weight: it looks heavy but it's not that heavy either. I can hold and use iPad just fine.protection: I haven't tested the protection for obvious reason.stand function: the stand works very well. portrait stand is very solid, and I like the angle even though I cannot adjust much for portrait mode. and the landscape stand works well, too. however I feel stand leg might need to be a little longer so that it can stand more straight than it can do now. but the current angle just works fine as well. but I want a little more flexibility just. it's minor suggestion for the product.I would say it's very good product overall, and I am recommending to friends.

Material is mostly nice, the back kind can be scratched easily but they said they’ll be working on it (disclosure below for more info). The case is no larger than it needs to be, the innovative new stand design is amazing refresh and is very versatile. The big apprehensions I have, which aren’t that bad, is the stand can be a little loud when it snaps back closed and if you swing the case hard enough or anything the pencil will come loose easier then my last case. This is because the pencil holder is more magnetically based then physically grabbing. I prefer this more than any of the “flip” cases, where the stand flips over the screen when stowed, because it doesn’t put all the dirt and crap from the surface you were working on the screen. Downside to that is there’s not a lot of stowed screen protection but I never ran into any problems. The stands are impressively stable with zero wobble, supporting both horizontal and vertical orientations - a rare feature in iPad cases. I'm using it on the new iPad released late 2024.Regarding noise when closing the stand (mentioned in other reviews), this is a non-issue with normal handling. The translucent white finish looks elegant and maintains the iPad's aesthetic.Despite using a paperlike screen protector without a cover flap, I feel confident about daily protection. The Apple Pencil holder has perfect magnetic strength - even when tossed in a backpack during travel, the pencil stays securely in place.For those seeking a slim, functional case that doesn't compromise the Mini's portability, this is an excellent choice.

I generally like TORRAS products and this one is no exception. Seems to be well made and fits with the general esthetic of the iPad M4 of light weight great functionality. But one thing that I couldn't get over is that there is no front flap for protection of the screen. There are edge bumpers to protect in falls but I just really felt my iPad was vulnerable without that screen protection. This could just be me but I ended up getting another cover that included a front flap. Some buyers might like the no front flap but wasn't for me.
