Excellent Product

This a set of 6 bands for identification of mags or rifles to show what caliber is loaded or the rifle is chambered for. They are used for situations where you have more than one similar rifle with different calibers to avoid a bad situation where you put a larger round in a smaller chamber. In other words it helps avoid blowing up a rifle. For example 308 versus 6.5 Creedmoor. In my case I put one band around the bottom of all my magazines and one band around the rifle forward of the mag well. Yes, maybe I am paranoid but if you have ever seen what a 300 blackout does to a 556 rifle when you mix up magazines, then you will know why you might want these. I also try to get different colors for different calibers. So I went with tan for 308.My only issue with these 308 bands is they are the same size as the ones everyone makes for 556/223 mags. 308 magazines are much bigger so the bands are stretched a lot more when installed on the 308 magazines. Eventually they will probably crack. We'll see how long they last.

Does just as it says. Good overview on your mags

I have two systems that require the same mags different calibers and these are great to quickly distinguish the mags to the caliber. They are well made.
