I got this to go behind my monitors for bias lighting. I appreciate that there isn't an on and off switch or anything. I just have them plugged in so that when my computer turns on, they automatically come on. Computer off and they turn off. Nice and simple. Also, the light is a good cool white. Not blue-tinged like some. Not dingy yellow like others.

The media could not be loaded. People in reviews are saying it doesn’t stick well but maybe they aren’t cleaning the surface before they apply it? Cause mine is sticking very well. I did apply a piece of tape to support the weight of the wire.It’s very bright and the perfect length for my main kitchen counter. It is rated at 9w but I am using a 7.5w adapter and it’s working fine.The price was good, like $6? And I wish I had bought this a long time ago be ause it really lights up my counter space.

It was a good set of lights. The LEDs were on a strip. The cord could have been longer; it was shorter than what was expected, making it hard for us to use. The tone of the light is very nice and bright enough without being blinding.

As others have stated : the adhesive tape is not good at all - ESPECIALLY if it is truly 3M brand! As I was attempting to peel off the blue backing, the tape/adhesive stuck to the blue backing and just made a mess .. luckily I had some leftover 3M tape after repairing an old LG TV by replacing the metal LED strips for backlighting. I used that and just held the COB LED strip in place until the tape was secure.For My Project, I initially was going to run the entire 1M/3FT around the U-shaped housing, but decided to cut to fit just the top bar looking down. (See image)Since this item had a 5V USB end, I used that for testing, but when I made this more permanent, I cut that connector off and crimped the wires into a JST connector that fit my board inside the printer.This project cost me less than $10USD vs $35+USD for a much less bright option from the printer manufacturer itself.All-in-all: I'm happy with the COB LED strip, but peeled off the rest of the useless double-sided mounting tape and used my own. (NOTE: I also have leftover SOB LED strip material now for other projects, or models, etc. Very Cost-Worthy item nonetheless!!!)

This LED strip light has a female receptable for a corded plug but doesn't come with the corded plug. I had to scavenge one from something else. And, the other end of the LED strip is two bare wires. Are these left exposed to wire them together with another strip? I don't know. Is it safe to use like that? I don't know. The LED lights themselves are gorgeous but I find it odd there is no way to actually plug them in unless you have a plug or buy a male plug electric cord. And, also, cover the bare wires with electrical tape or an electrical plastic plug. Nice lights but weird presentation. Oh ... and no instructions to explain anything. I didn't even know the strip has double-stick tape on the back to hang them. I was glad to discover that after looking online about what to do with the bare wires.

Bought 3ft version in red for dark hours while cycling. Exceptionally useful to be visible on the road.Peeled off adhesive cover and ran it underneath the bicycle frame (size 43cm) to mimick underglow effect. Use a 10,000mAh portable USB power bank to power via USB port. Only uses 15% per 1 hour of my power bank.COB LED is very bright and uniform! Use any color as long as it stands out from a distance.

The lights are just what they say, work well for what I need. But the price has gone up by almost $1.00 in the last 2 weeks. Each time I've ordered the price has gone up. So that right there is enough to drop to 1 star. Not for the product, but the so called brand selling them.

The adhesive is 3M, it’s not going to come off. They look great, they don’t have the spaces that typical LEDs do so it looks more like a neon consistent light. It does not come with the power adapter, they recommend and actually highlighted that you need a 5 V. Make sure that you don’t use higher than that. I actually plan on buying a few more for my TV cabinet. The 5 V is for the smaller if you’re gonna get the 16.4 or larger they recommend a 10 V, high quality, it’s a great atmosphere to the home.

Es handelt sich hier um einen LED-Lichtstreifen in neuartiger COB-Technik, dies bedeutet dass die entlang das Streifens verbauten LEDS mit einem Diffusormaterial übergossen sind. Dies sorgt insbesondere bei indirekter Beleuchtung für ein gleichmäßigeres Lichtbild, wenngleich die LEDs dennoch als Lichtpunkte ausmachbar sind, wenn man den Streifen direkt betrachtet.Der Streifen ist wie üblich kürzbar, die angegebenen 16mm stimmen aber nicht, es sind 24mm, was aber immer noch problemlos für fast alle Anwendungen sein sollte. Mit dem auf der Rückseite angebrachten Klebestreifen kann der Strip direkt aufgeklebt werden.Bedient wird der Lichtstreifen über eine relativ große Kabelfernbedienung mit drei großen haptischen Knöpfen. An/Heller/Dunkler. Beim Gedrückthalten dimmen die LEDs stufenlos, beim Klicken in mehreren Stufen. Hier gibt es absolut nix zu meckern, mir gefällt vor Allem die solide Haptik der Bedienung.Zu beachten ist, dass dieser LED-Strip nur eine Lichtfarbe (warmweiß) kann, das steht aber auch so in der Beschreibung.Der wirkliche Clou an diesem Lichtstreifen ist der einfache Anschluss direkt über 5V USB. Dies ermöglicht vielfältige Einsatzmöglichkeiten rund um PC, Laptop, TV oder auch mobile Geräte, ohne dass man sich um eine gesonderte Stromversorgung Gedanken machen muss. Auch der Betrieb an einem Akkupack funktionierte einwandfrei.Der Strip merkt sich die zuletzt eingestellte Helligkeit, wenn er über den Taster abgeschaltet wird. Trennt man die Stromversorgung und steckt den USB-Stecker wieder ein, bleibt der Strip allerdings erstmal dunkel. Beim Einschalten über den Knopf leuchtet er dann auf maximaler Helligkeit. Ein indirektes Ein-/Ausschalten über die USB-Stromversorgung funktioniert deshalb leider nicht.
