Sharwood'sSweet & Sour Cooking Sauce, 425 g Jar

As suggested by a cooking channel on YouTube, if you aren't going to make your own (ahahahah... no, I've seen them do it and I would definitely not achieve a good result) this is the best readily available option.I prefer the sauce you get from a takeaway, but then I can't make my own fried rice properly, definitely not pancake rolls, and there's no chance of chicken balls either. So at my ability level, this is fine and makes a good addition to a kind of a stir fry dish I make. Not that I'd ever use it, rather than go to a proper takeaway if one was available and in budget.I'm rating it based on how it compares to the alternatives, not the idea that it's somehow the same as food prepared by experts. Mind you, if you really can cook any of the more complex dishes that you'd get in your usual order, this would work well with them, in my opinion. It's also pretty good if you have leftovers and want more sauce to go with them because you sensibly bought a lot more than you'd eat in one night.

Nice and sweet and tangy. Maybe a bit mainstream for some but always a safe bet for a mid week meal.

Sweet and Sour sauce tastes great, love mixing it with uncle bens microwaveable rice :) big fan good price and delivery, especially with amazon pantry these days.
