I was really hopefully after trying many methods that this would help my dog but while it appears to work well for most, it didn't for my 100lb German Shepherd.Thoughts:>Great packaging, easy to understand manual/functions.>Fit on My GSD, but he kept rotating it despite it being firmly placed as instructed. He's hardheaded in general so I think it's more him than the product.>Despite being set to the most sensitive setting, it didn't always activate. I think this was due to his thick fur and as mentioned above, the fact that he would try to rotate the device away from his throat (which is where the manual states to place it).>For a big guy like him, when it did activate, it was barely audible over his loud bark. He simply was unbothered by both the noise/vibration despite being at max settings.In conclusion, sounds like it's a great product for most dogs based on other reviews, but if you have a large, stubborn dog like I do - may need to have realistic expectations.

My dog barks at EVERYTHING & EVERYONE so I needed this. Been a few months and she’s doing a lot better but definitely start slow so they don’t get used to it she’s started at 1-3 and there are 5-6 modes. Can take her on a normal walk without her going crazy.

Funny story- A few weeks ago my wife said I have to do something to stop our dogs CRAZY barking at neighbor dogs. We had another bark collar bought in Amazonia, but it had a remote and required us to use the remote to quiet the dog, and then, it did not work. I ordered the stopwoofer and put it on Daisy. Instantly it worked. !!! One bark and silence.. In the days that followed, there was no additional barking issues. Now, my wife is complaining that Daisy does not bark to come in, does not bark at the mailman, and does not bark at the UPS guy. So, she now wants Daisy to bark at "appropriate" times. Ya, I'll work on that.

I decided to purchase the stop woof collar to get some peace & quiet while watching a program on tv. My Miniature Pincher has a bad habit of barking at the television anytime animals are on the screen. It seems to have only taken a couple of hours for him to not even bark. He would side eye the tv then completely turn away from it to keep himself from barking. Now if I pull the collar out to put on him he will not bark. I really only had put it on him a couple of times since the purchase of it.

DO NOT GET THIS IF: 1) YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE DOG. 2) DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU LIVE CLOSE TO ANOTHER DOG (like a neighbor's dog) - this unit will activate on your dog, even when THEY don't bark - my poor baby was so confused. I felt awful :(*Effective? - yes - this unit works. The problem is that it's activated by other dogs' barking (too). So unless you live in the middle of no where and only have one dog, this unit will only serve to punish and confuse your pup.Honestly, for that reason alone, I wouldn't recommend this kind of device.Good luck!

I was worried that it would disturb my neighbors, so I bought this collar to train it to restrain barking. There is no electric shock in this collar. I think it is relatively humane and painless for dogs. It also comes with a small device that simulates the barking of a dog to help you debug the collar, which is very considerate. In fact, the collar does interfere with my dog when barking. After using the collar, the probability of their barking is reduced within a few days. I recommend it.
