3 cubic feet sounds like a lot, and looked it when the box arrived, but once they've been in sat or slouched on by a 100kg adult for a while they condense quite significantly... That's not a knock on these beans, they seem much the same as the ones that came with my XXL bean bag chair. I'll probably end up adding the whole lot eventually (at least halfway there already) just to keep from sinking ever closer to the floor when I sit in it.The process of transferring beans from the refill to the bean bag is surprisingly tense - the beans barely weigh more than air and they hold a static charge very easily so that they end up repelling (or attracting) each other, the bean bag and the person trying to move them - the slightest air movement sends them flying . I use a Pyrex jug to transfer them, though a metal container would probably be better (and an earthing strap). The gauze bag that the refill arrives in at least doesn't seem to hold a charge, thankfully, so it's probably easier to get them out than it would be from a plastic bag.

I was worried at first, after reading the reviews how too fill my bean bag. But there was no need to worry, as I thought about it first, patients works wonders and was so easy, I gently pushed in with the net swirled it around until it was all in. No Mess and no hardship at all. Thank you so much as the Net supported all beans and is Well made. I took me 5 minutes and a good job done.I am giving 5 Stars as it's Well deserved for this excellent idea. Maria

Great find totally renewed my beanbag. The neck is wide but the secret to filling up without making a mess is to cut the top of the sack and tie a knot to make the neck of the sack to half the diameter then slowly pour while your helper gently shakes your beanbag to balance the new beads into your beanbag. This stops any mes if you try to pour directly the neck is too wide and spills everywhere and because they are static a nightmare to clean.

Striped stocking net?Don't wear jewellery when filling as it easily snags the stocking net.I bought too much two bags of 3 cubit making it 6 cubit! So had to think of things to fill! 😂 my bolsters look great, the neck pillow refilled, the knee pillow restuffedNow making a bean bag cover if I can't find my original one in the loft!! 🤔In the meantime the big box of polystrene balls which were left got jumped in by the cat!! Such fun ! 😂 some are still under the chest of drawers! 🤣

There are lots of beans for sale on Amazon. I chose this one because it came with an expanding stocking which therefore saved me buying one and I liked the product details about the company.I didn't really now how much to get for my bean bag but went for the 3cf thinking I could always plump up some cushions if I some left over.It arrived super quick. I am so glad I did not choose beans delivered in a plastic bag - the static caused when emptying it means the beans would stick to your hands and arms/sleeves and would be difficult to shake off.To fill my beanbag and use the stocking I first needed to empty the beans into a box, then put the stocking inside the bag, then pour the beans into the stocking. I used a jug to start with to transfer the beans, but soon managed to pour them in. This method worked very well and I hardly lost any beans to the carpet.The stocking is super stretchy, just like the one that originally came the the beanbag. I simply tied a not in the end when I'd filled it. I managed to just fit in all the beans I bought.It is like having a new beanbag and I'm super pleased.

I bought two 2cu ftof beads to boost two bean bags and an 8cu ft bag of beads to fill an empty bean bag. They were in two layers of netting so there was no escaping of stray polystyrene balls all over the floor or clinging to my skin. They were all easy to fill and NO MESS. I’ve had loose beans before and it was a nightmare to fill the bags. Brilliant product and great service. I received my order within 2 days of ordering.

I bought this in order to fill a round leather footstool. Unfortunately, the 'sock' around the beads has tiny holes that let the beads out when you try and fit the sock into the final item. So I have kept the beads but I am using them for a completely different purpose, in order to block the air from under a door. But really not great. You cannot use the product as is, you must add a cotton sheath between the sock and the item you are trying to fill.

I'm glad I bought this one. The last set of beans I bought were in a plastic bag and it was a nightmare trying to top up my beanbag - beads got in the beanbag and it seems everywhere else!With this I don't have to worry about static, it's easy to feed the beads into the beanbag without them spilling on the floor, stop them and tie the bag back up without any drama. Would definitely buy again.
