We bought this for son in WA who has having major health issues and needed something to hang on to for bathing. Our daughter had one in the past as she had mobility issues and we traveled with it (even on airplanes) and installed it in hotels as we traveled...very helpful...we also have one in our home for us as we age and have knee surgery and need to be secure in getting in and out of tub. We recommend this to all our friends, even those without any mobility issues...its great to have something other than a flimsy towel bar to grab. This item is sturdy and very secure and installs in a couple of minutes by most anyone...no tools needed.

It was much sturdier than expected. Still using it after surgery. Wound recommend it to anyone. Easy to mount and stays put. Helpful getting up and down from toilet too.

Very useful item that requires no installation.

Got this for my mom after she had knee replacement surgery to help her get into the tub. It has a very secure connection to the tub, no wobbling. It really helped give her some stability when using her bad knee to get into and out of the tub.

Easy to install. Sturdy built. Not as snug a fit as needed.

Easy to install. I just wish the handle was a bit higher. Also, the handle can be slippery if hands are really wet. Wish it had some type of nonskid covering over it. Otherwise, good product.I have to edit my review. After I had the product for 2 wks. I noticed a small chip of the enamel, which had already started to rust. So I decided to return the item. As I was repacking it to return it, I turned the item upside down to put it in the box and found rust on the bottom of the item. Right along the seam. All this after only 2 wks. of use. No problem with the return. They made that part easy. But I am disappointed that it started to rust.

Wonderful and works great for my intended purpose. For the person who said that it slips and won’t stay tight, probably isn’t tightening it tight enough in the first place.

Very sturdy construction. Clamps to the tub tightly. You can use it to pull yourself up and it doesn't move. Very pleased!

I bought this for a relative who was having issues getting in and out of the tub. I wanted her to enjoy a nice bath once in a while without worrying so bought and installed it for her (which is easy to do, btw) She's really enjoying it and is taking more baths, so I think it must work well. I was concerned that it might require putting too much weight on one side when rising from the tub, but she said it was fine. I think it was more for extra support but probably wouldn't be ideal for someone who has more serious mobility issues.

I bought this for my elderly parents. My father at 92 has had issues getting out of the tub and my mother at 82 is terrified of slipping. They are both very happy with the tub rail. It clamps on easily and is very sturdy. They are very happy with it.

sturdy and strong....my father's bathtub is metal casing and the wall is slightly curved, so clamping isn't 100%, but we still got it to remain pretty still and it still works.

Rail mount could be tighter but good overall

This works perfectly. Finally found a product that works on a 7” bath tub. Now I can rest easier knowing that my Mom will be safe in her tub.
