Nice small pan, but not 8 inches
Well, maybe it’s 8” measured across the top of pan’s outside lip, but is much smaller on base. None of the 8” pan lids I’ve tried will fit, so that was very disappointing. It does work well as a car camping kit pan for one person. It is much easier to to keep your breakfast foods from sticking to bottom than my 8” Lodge cast iron pan, & much easier to clean. But I need a decent lid to cook lunch or dinner in it.. I got this pan as an inexpensive way to try out cooking in an enameled plan because I didn’t want to put out serious money for a pan with a French name for simple car camping. This one works fine if you don’t need a lid.

Most used in the kitchen
This pan is about as non-stick as they come. I use it often to make one serving of French toast for breakfast. Clean-up is easy and fast.

Nice cooking pan
I needed a small pan for individual sautéing and this is the right size. Good weight and cooks evenly. Also cleans up well. Best to add oil or butter before cooking

Small for 8 inches. Photo for reference
I haven't used it yet, so I can't really give it an appropriate "Star" value.... but thought I would post the photo with my hand as a reference to the actual size. We measured it... and it is 8 inches from spout to spout, outside radius. (I do have long fingers... but I've never been able to "Palm" a basketball. LOL"

Good pan
I have used this to fry and sautee so far. It is great to use, not non-stick. Clean immediately after it cools down so the staibs stuck to the bottom aren't impossible to get off.

Eggs stuck on first and second use
We switched to an induction cookop this year, and I'd previously used an enameled aluminium skillet for eggs, which was great: I only ever used wooden implements, only ever cooked eggs in it, used EVOO and butter for the heat transfer fluid and surface lubricant, and the surface was smooth enough for eggs not to stick. But because of the switch to induction, I needed a replacement. This didn't meet the grade.

Too heavy, hard to clean
Dishwasher is not recommended so hard to clean as everything sticks to it.

doesn't work for why I bought it, but ...
I ordered this 8" enamel-coated cast iron frying pan to replace the scratched ceramic frying pan I use for my breakfast eggs. This pan sticks worse than my old one, so I was disappointed ... but it does seem to work for meats or vegetables, making a flavourful fond on the bottom that lifts easily for a nice sauce ... so I will keep it and keep looking for a good non-stick pan for my eggs. I was surprised that the handle is less hot than I expected, though I still need a potholder.

GOOD QUALITY
I bought this pan after reading mixed reviews. My item arrived in decent condition, I used it a few times and my first test was fried eggs. The eggs did not stick to the pan, of course I used butter but I this is how you fry eggs, right? After that I used the pan for frying sausage and onion. Again, all came excellent. I usually buy lecreuset pans but I need little cast iron pan immediately and this one is pretty good. I am probably about to buy another one for my friend as a gift.
