I tossed a couple of these in my car, but I bought them primarily to put up in my windows that get blasted with afternoon sun in the summer. Keeps the room affected several degrees cooler than they would otherwise be.

The fabric is VERY fragile and susceptible to rip. It is also translucent and allows alot of light to pass through. Tin foil would probably work better, but overall it is alright considering the price.

I actually bought these to utilize the highly reflective surface for a home led light accent project. The surface reflects like a mirror but without the rigidity. I had 9 packs left over, so I put a couple in my car glove compartment, and gave some to family members to put in their cars. One of these blankets could save your life if you get stranded in the cold. They come folded in compact 3" x 5" packets, ready to deploy.

Product arrived in timely manner. I love how each blanket comes in its own small, light pouch. Is perfect for my use as extra insulation in my ultra light weight tent. Thanks for a reasonably priced and durable product!

I ordered these Mylar blankets because of the size (they are a little longer than most), the price and the super fast delivery. I included them in a little starter kit goodie bag for some hikers that where coming on an outing that the premise of the outing was a day hike gone bad which forces you to stay overnight. One hiker (who was planning on just staying just for the day which included lessons) decided to stay overnight. She made a bed out of pine boughs and payed one of the Mylar blankets on top to reflect her heat bad at her and make this a little more comfortable. Though it was 78 and humid during the day, the temperature dropped to 60 degrees fahrenheit at night along with the humidity. I will definitely buy from this seller again and I recommend to fellow hikers.

Buying a roll of reflective Mylar isn’t cheap. Wanted to build a reflective solar cooker with cardboard and a pane of glass. Aluminum foil oxidizes and quickly degrades as a reflective surface. Mylar is the choice to make a real appliance… this is perfect. Pieces big enough and affordable.
