I wanted a spotting scope for indoor shooting and one that would fit into my range bag easily. This one is perfect. Really like the phone option as it allows me to easily see my shots. I am purchasing a better quality tripod so I can adjust the height more and because the weight of the phone pulls the monocular. I have figured out to place one leg of the tripod in the back so the phone rests on it. That’s the only drawback. Arrived on time.

Just received but so far so good. Will be able to try out more this summer UPDATE: when I first went to use the phone adapter it broke, BUT the company was notified and they made good and sent me a new one.

Great for getting a better view of small wildlife 20 - 40 feet away in our backyard. We took on our trip to the Grand Canyon last summer and didn't use it as much as we planned/hoped. Haven't been able to get a good picture with our phone camera. Doesn't compare with good binoculars but you get what you pay for.Gonna pony up for some good binoculars.

This monocular is very good quality as far as I’m concerned. I’m not a professional, but I pride myself of taking g good photos using my iPhone. The attachment for the phone is easy to use. I would recommend placing the phone on the adapter/holder before attaching it to the monocular. I used a small thin washer under the screw knob that holds the lens adapter in place. It wasn’t quite tight enough to keep the adapter cup centered over the camera lens.The Tripod is ok. I had an old tripod I used when I was taking photos for a class way back in college. The monocular fit right in so I prefer to use my old one. The one that comes with it is ok, but a bit unstable. Better than nothing.Be patient and you will get the hang of it. Even without using the iPhone the monocular is very impressive for the cost.

The monocular is pretty good, I love it, but the smartphone adapter is not, it broke pretty easy, I recommend to get a separate one, there is an Amazon choose made of steel. But other than the adapters quality the monocular is beautiful and useful.

I received this scope for Christmas and sorry to say it did not not work, First the adapter for the iPhone didn't work as it would block the view finder, I could have lived with that and not used that feature, however the scope has no magnification and you could see thing better with the naked eye. Will return item and shop for a different one.

Should have known for the price what to expect quality wise, and not surprised -- very clumsy to use and picture quality was poor.

The description of item wasn’t true. In order to zoom, you need it hooked up to your cell phone. Not what it described.

For the price is really a good monocular. The view is quite clear but is hard to keep it steady.
