ONLY 1 STAR BECAUSE 3KG DUMBELLS SHOULD BE 3KG EACH, NOT 2 X 1.5KG. 5KG DUMBELLS SHOULD BE 5KG EACH, NOT 2 X 2.5KG. ETC. You get my drift.To be fair to the seller it does say: - **NOTE** Read Full Description and Then Buy The Product.I read many descriptions then returned to this item and bought them because they were “Amazons choice”.WELL, THEY ARE NOT MY CHOICE.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE DUMBBELLS.Because the weights are half the weight they should be.THEY ARE NOT GOOD VALUE.Argos is much cheaper and better quality than these Gallant Sport dumbbells.I did contact Gallant to see if they could help but got a curt reply from Peter quoting “read the description then buy”. Clearly they have been through this many times before.Gallant sports dispatch the item really quickly and get them to you in very good time but the cost of returning them is not economical because of the weight.Gallant sports dumbbells are rough and ready and £ for kg EXPENSIVE.Gallant Sports: 3kg dumbbells = 2 x 1.5kg dumbbells = £10.99 (£3.66 per kg)Argos: 3kg dumbbells = 2 x 3kg dumbbells = £11.99 (£2.00 per kg)These will have to be given away and I’ll buy some better quality, better value ones of the correct weight from elsewhere.Not from Gallant. Nice shape & decent but not silly weight
What a great purchase. A good weight for someone who only wants to titillate my arm muscles to make sure as a "getting on a bit" woman I can still open jars etc etc These have a decent weight to them without me turning into a gym bunny!

After fracturing my arm a couple of months ago my physiotherapist gave me some exercises involving 1kg weights to improve flexibility in my arm and strengthen my arm and shoulder.I chose these and delighted with my choice. They are comfortable to hold and swing around and, due to the hexagonal ends, do not roll away when I put them down. Also excellent service and speedy delivery from the seller.

I bought two sets of these dumbbells (3kg & 5kg) to rebuild muscles in my arms, back, chest and shoulders. They are lovely bright colours and very comfortable to hold with an excellent rubber grip material! The price is also brilliant. I highly recommend these to anyone.I only had one issue relating to the description of the product online - they have overcomplicated the description so not many bother reading it. Please note that the 'weight' of the dumbbells is the combined weight of both. E.g. 3kg = two 1.5kg weights.

My 4yo son wanted weights for Christmas, and these were the only 0.5kg ones that I could find that weren't pink. He loves "working out with Daddy" now.Only problem is that he figured out what they were while still in the wrapping, under the tree!

Great quality and would highly recommend.
Very happy with this product. I bought the smallest ones so my daughters can use them, they see me using my heavier ones and want to join in.I know that weights are not suitable for children However the 1/2 kg I feel will be fine as they are coming into their teens.The weights are good quality and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
