Faultless D577 Night Latch Spin-to-Lock Deadbolt, Polished Brass

Purchased this to go on my new door. We have used the same brand, same type of lock, on my old door for at least 10 years... so I am a huge fan of the ‘spin-lock’ feature. Super excited when I found this lock in silver... only to be dissappointed that it doesn’t even work. I had it professionally installed by the group contracted with Lowe’s for installments when they did my door, and I even tried working on it for over an hour with no success. I purchased this in advance to make sure I had everything in by the time my door was due to be installed, and of course, it has now been over 30 days - I can’t return it now, and I can’t even find a link to contact the seller. Super bummed =(

We recently replaced the entry doors and hardware on our house. The old doors had "spin-to-lock" deadbolts which I had installed several years ago. My wife and I really liked them because it saved having to use a key to lock them every time we left the house, just a simple spin and they were locked. When we put the new doors on I looked everywhere for these deadbolts but couldn't find them anywhere. Then I suddenly thought of Amazon and sure enough they had them. I now have them installed and they work great, just like the old ones only better. These have a night latch feature for additional security that the old ones didn't have that prevents any key from opening them when it is depressed. Amazon has become my new best friend!

I love the features and look of this lock it installs super easy like any other deadbolt and the spin to lock from the outside is amazing.unfortunately I cant give 5 stars because although the listing mentions that the lock is rekey-able there are no instructions on how to rekey. I opened up the lock and the internals are certainly not your standard deadbolt, there is no cylinder ring keeping the cylinder in place and I dont want to damage the lock, so some instructions would be appreciated.

This dead bolt is exactly as pictured…maybe even better. The only down is if you lock your keys inside the house, then spin the lock closed, your locked out…I got a hide a key, and problem fixed. It was so easy to install, and I really do love it!!!!!

Replaced a 20 yr old version. Would buy again and again. Great product

Makes getting out of the house much easier when you're trying to get out with multiple kids.. instead of fiddling with your keys to lock the door give it a little twist and your on your way..
